About Three Porches
Three Porches is an independent buying-guide site about outdoor storage: storage sheds, deck boxes and patio storage boxes.
We write for homeowners whose garage, porch or patio has run out of room. Our goal is plain: help you find a shed or box that holds your gear, fits your space and stands up to the weather where you live.
What we cover
Our guides cover plastic and resin sheds, steel sheds, vertical and horizontal storage sheds, and resin deck boxes from small to extra large. Brands include Keter, Suncast, Lifetime, Patiowell and others.
We sort them by what you need to store, like a riding mower, bikes, trash cans, pool gear or patio cushions. We also cover the work around a shed, such as choosing a size, building a level base and anchoring it down.
How we work
We read the specs, measurements and maker information for every shed and box we write about. We also look at what owners often report after a few seasons of sun, rain and snow.
Then we turn that into plain guides, side-by-side comparisons and clear picks. Our How we research page explains each step.
What we are not
We don't make or sell sheds or deck boxes, and no brand pays us to rank its products. Three Porches isn't affiliated with Keter, Suncast, Lifetime, Patiowell or any other maker.
We don't claim to have built every shed we write about. When we pick something, we say why, based on its specs, its features and owner feedback.
We don't replace the maker's manual. Follow the maker's assembly and anchoring steps, and check your local rules before you build.
